Stone & Lea’s Rosella Jam is our exclusive ‘special limited edition Mother’s Day batch. We have sourced locally grown Rosella’s from Wamuran in SEQ for this incredible jam! The Rosella bush produces many red edible calyxes that are high in Vitamin C and encases the large seed/pod inside, after each Rosella is individually picked from the plant, the extremely long process of removing the seed by hand can then occur, approximately 1 hour to hull 2kg per person! We are so excited to support the small farm to bring you this classic that will bring back all the memories of yester-year! Made only whilst the Rosella fruit flowers are in season (Mar-June), we have made our Grandpa’s recipe bringing back our own memories as we used to watch him make this incredible jam from just a few bushes he planted each year after keeping the seeds from the last season’s batch! We hope you, your Mum & Grandma all enjoy this premium and well sought after traditional Jam, and is available for many weeks after Mother’s Day!
